Victory conditions
You might say: ways to win
The goals that end the game with a winner.
- What it does
- Point each empire at a different finish line, so peaceful and warlike play can both win.
- Ask
- Can each path to victory be seen coming and stopped?
Catalogue: Victory
- Conquest: Take or destroy every rival, or their capitals.
- Science: Be the first to reach a final technology goal, such as founding a colony on Mars.
- Culture: Have more cultural pull than every rival, such as more visiting tourists than any rival has domestic tourists.
- Diplomatic: Accumulate enough Diplomatic Points to become the dominant political force.
- Score: When the turn limit is reached, the empire with the highest score wins.
